About Me

I am a Ph.D. student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, working with Dr. Prashnna K. Gyawali at the Machine Intelligence Lab. My research develops machine learning methods for scientific discovery — with a focus on graph neural networks and self-supervised learning for material property prediction, alongside long-standing work in computer vision and medical image segmentation.

Before joining WVU, I served as a faculty instructor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I hold an M.Sc. from MIST and a B.Sc. from the Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), both in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
